Belarusians restore order in places of military graves and memorial complexes

A large-scale patriotic action "Memory" is taking place throughout the country. Caring Belarusians come to the places of military graves and memorial complexes to restore order and pay tribute to those who defended peace, freedom and independence for us. Schoolchildren and caring people gathered at the monument to local residents who died in 1944 in village Kupisk, Novogrudok District. All together they removed last year's foliage, painted the fence and the commemorative sign. This village, a week before the liberation of Novogrudok District from the Nazis, was almost completely destroyed by punishers. They burned down 16 villages in the territory of Novogrudok District during the war years. There are memorials in each of them now.
