Wreaths laid to monument to decedent police officers on Police Day by tradition

The Belarusian police are celebrating a professional holiday today! They have been operating for 103 years. President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the internal affairs bodies on the Police Day. A solemn ritual of laying wreaths to the monument to decedent officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place. The Minister of the Interior noted the continuity in the Belarusian police and emphasized the veterans' achievements as an example for current employees.

Yuri Karaev, Minister of Interior: "There have been fewer crimes, and fewer citizens have suffered and died in crimes. We have been dealing with this with alternate success for many years. Foreigners usually outline our cleanliness and safety."
