A criminal case was initiated over a fire in the Budslau Church under the article "violation of fire safety rules and causing damage on a large scale". The fire resulted in the collapse of the church roof over the central part. Investigators have appointed a comprehensive fire-technical examination to establish the causes of the accident.
The tragedy took place this morning, no parishioners were in the church at the time of the fire.
