Archival photos, stories of the Red Army soldiers and drafts for the book "Brest Fortress". These days in Moscow there is an exhibition "Immortality of the feat", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders. This is a joint project of the Belarusian and Russian museums for Victory Day.

The exposition contains more than 100 items. A separate section of the exhibition is devoted to the work of the writer-front-line veteran Sergei Smirnov. These are his personal diaries with records of interviews of eyewitnesses who defended the citadel.

Visitors can watch the archival photos and newsreels, as well as listen to audio stories of the participants of those events, including ordinary privates, officers and nurses. Through their personal impressions one can learn about the heroic defense of the Brest Fortress and the liberation of Belarus.
