Oleg Novitsky performs first spacewalk in his career on ISS

The task was successfully completed. Belarusian Oleg Novitsky and his colleague Petr Dubrov spacewalked for the first time in their careers. Novitsky had red stripes on his space suit and Dubrov had blue ones.

The main task was to prepare the docking compartment for receiving the multifunctional laboratory module "Nauka", its launch to the ISS is scheduled for July 15. In particular, the cosmonauts replaced the flow regulator panel on the module "Zarya", packed it in a sealed container and sent it into the outer space. The space work was carried out for about 7 hours.
