Receipts in the treasury from business should come not through fines and penalties, but after notifications of tax authorities. As the profile minister said today, the trend has already begun. The line for encouraging voluntary payments will be supported by a new tax document.
Sergei Nalivaiko, Minister for Taxes and Levies of Belarus: "We propose the draft amendments to the Tax Code that the fine should not exceed the amount of additional taxes, which is one of the principles of reasonableness and proportionality of punishment."
Today the Tax Code is at the final stage of finalization. The document will simplify the procedure for collecting fees, many norms will become more transparent for both business and citizens.
