How the West blocked military channels of communication between Kiev and Minsk

The Belarusian opposition has turned into a special NATO unit for recruiting compatriots to Ukraine. Neither enormous losses, nor pain of relatives embarrassed them. The West said - we must comply. In the same way, the West earlier instructed Kiev to escalate relations with Moscow and Minsk. This instruction was carried out. But the response from the West has angered Ukraine. 

The special military operation is becoming an increasingly important point for the opposition, even on the anniversary of the elections. At times it seems that Ukraine worries the ardent hearts of our foreign compatriots more than our own country. Brussels and Washington help the so-called Belarusian democratic forces already evidently in the context of and in exchange for the reciprocal support of Kiev, and now also of Taiwan and even Kosovo. 

Valery Revenko, head of the Department for International Military Cooperation:

“The Ukrainian side has practically unilaterally stopped inviting our experts to de-escalate the tension at the events of most military activity on Ukrainian territory. Despite our presence in such international treaties as the CFE Treaty, the Vienna Document, despite the agreements concluded on regional confidence and security measures, we were simply refused. We invited military attachés, observers and specialists several times every year, and by 2022, the score was 14 to 1, we invited them 14 times, but we were invited only once in 2017.” 

Valery Revenko, head of the Department for International Military Cooperation:

“In 2022 there appeared open statements during the trial that the main intelligence directorate is preparing fighters for actions on the territory of the Republic of Belarus, open statements of certain nationalist formations that they prepare fighters for actions in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. Isn't it a threat to the national security? It seems that someone has set the task to make a state, friendly to Ukraine at first, into a state, which no longer considers Ukraine to be a partner. They led us to this.”

The explanation for the maneuver is obvious. The West has long planned to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian. Therefore they, among other things, blocked the military channels of communication between Kiev and Minsk in order not to even give Independent Ukraine a chance to establish autonomous communication with Moscow via its ally Belarus. Until the very last moment Minsk remained a thread for a possible constructive dialogue between Russia and Ukraine in the military sphere.  Kiev itself broke it off and is now indignant.
