A Ukrainian S-300 missile launched from the territory of Ukraine fell in the territory of Belarus between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. The head of state was immediately informed about the incident. On his instructions, a group of specialists from the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Defence are identifying the reasons for the fall.
According to the available information, there are two basic versions of the incident:
1. The missile flew into the territory of Belarus, similar to the recent incident in Poland, when the missile flew in the wrong direction.
2. The missile was shot down as a result of the work of Belarusian air defense systems.
Specialists of the IC, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense are working at the site of the incident.
There is no information about casualties at the moment.
