The commander of the ship is our compatriot Oleg Novitsky. It is the second flight into space for him. As always, he takes the flag of Belarus with him as a sign of respect and love for his native land.
Despite the fact that in the last few days, the astronauts have lived in observation mode, media representatives were able to see the team trying on space suits and inspecting communication means with the Earth.
Docking with the ISS is scheduled for tomorrow. The current Expedition is the 50th one. Astronauts will stay on board the space station for almost half a year and conduct more than 40 scientific experiments.
