COVID-19 situation in Belarus remains under control

The situation with COVID-19 in Belarus remains under control, the number of people sick is on the decline, but it is still too early to relax. The first cases of infection with the British strain were registered in the country.

The system, however, is prepared for any scenario. It was noted by the President on Friday during his visit to the Central District Hospital in Molodechno. Traditionally, the Belarusian leader not only got familiar with the work of the hospital, talked to the staff, but also entered the "red zone", supported the patients and shared his plans.

Among the key ones: Belarus will continue development of interregional medical centers, and ensure technical upgrading of clinics; the country will reconsider target-oriented training of doctors.
