New building opened on basis of 5th Hospital in Minsk

The new building of neurology and neurosurgery of the 5th Hospital receives the first patients today. It will work as a pulmonary department for now. It accommodates about 300 people. The rooms are equipped with oxygen support points, monitoring equipment, phones with short numbers to keep in touch with doctors around the clock. The new building has all the conditions for treating patients of both mild conditions and for intensive care. The resuscitation room is designed for 12 people. 

Mikhail Nazarchuk, head doctor of the 5th Hospital in Minsk: “One room will contain 2, 3, 4 patients. There are 2 nursing posts on each floor. It will be much easier to supervise patients and deliver drugs."

The modern corps appeared on behalf of the head of the state. Alexander Lukashenko visited the 5th Hospital in 2015. The development of medical infrastructure is one of the most important priorities of the state policy.

On behalf of the President, all new buildings and hospitals should be multifunctional: equipped with the most modern equipment of various profiles. Such an integrated approach will provide the highest quality of medical care. The modern building, built on behalf of the President, began its work 6 months ahead of schedule.
