The boarding house for pensioners, located on Vaupshasov Street, was visited today by Nikolai Lukashenko, representatives of the Ice Hockey Federation headed by its Chairman, journalists, people working together with the President. And this is the order of the Head of State.
He sent not only greetings but also tasty and useful gifts. Treats from the presidential courtyard have already become traditional. 2.5 tons of watermelons, honey and jam from Alexandria (570 jars) were delivered for the guests and staff of the boarding house. Among the gifts are also medical equipment and drugs: an inhaler, a laser device, a Bioptron lamp - everything that is needed today to maintain health.
During the tea party, they talked about many things that are important for pensioners, about the work of central TV channels, and sports. As it turned out, there are many hockey fans here. Therefore, representatives of the Federation invited the guests and their families to the stands of the "Minsk-Arena" to cheer for Dynamo Minsk in the new season.
The residents of the boarding school proudly showed the landscaped green area around the main building, where, by the way, at the suggestion of the President, they organized a small farm with rabbits, goats and geese. It should be noted that the territory is large and cozy. Guests are especially fond of relaxing here due to their age. Benches were brought for convenience and safety precautions during the COVID period. As it was noted in the boarding house, there were no outbreaks of COVID, and the staff took the work on a rotational basis with due understanding. Now all guests and employees are vaccinated, except for those who have contraindications.
It's worth saying that a visit to this boarding house is a good tradition, which lasts 6 years. Today 362 people live here, each of them finds an individual approach. People with extensive life experience and the same age value it especially, as well as the comfort of living.
