Myasnikovich: EAEU drug market did not get empty as a result of sanctions

Pharmaceutical companies of all EAEU countries feel confident, despite the imposition of sanctions. Mikhail Myasnikovich, said the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

"The Russian Federation has the largest market in the pharmaceutical sector. Despite this, we believe that it will be possible to build new plants for the production of drugs, which will be import-substituting and can certainly become a subject of exports themselves. 

We look at things realistically and understand that it is impossible to replace everything. We probably shouldn't even strive for that. But some key medicines, especially those available to the public, which are vulnerable to the sanctions today, could be produced," said Myasnikovich.
