Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus and Israeli police suppress activities of group involved in human trafficking

An international group involved in human trafficking was detained. The special operation was held in Tel Aviv, supported by the Israeli police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs today reported that detained the organizers of the community included four Israelis and one Russian. Among the victims there are citizens of Belarus. The team specialized in sexual exploitation (they worked in the territory of Israel). About $600 thousand, two premium-class cars, cell phones, tablets and computers were found and seized in the underground offices and places of residence of the defendants.

The Central Division of the Israeli Negev District Police opened a criminal case under the article "Human Trafficking." The sanctions provide up to 16 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. The court of Tel Aviv chose a measure of restraint against the defendants in the form of arrest pending the judicial consideration of the criminal case. Direct professional contacts and fruitful cooperation have been established with the law enforcement agencies of Israel. A basis has been established for further cooperation in combating crime and protecting Belarusian citizens from sexual exploitation. "

Specialists in the sphere of morals of our Ministry of Internal Affairs do not rule out that the income from the criminal business is much higher.
