Next year the World Intellectual Property Organization diplomatic conference may be held in Minsk. The proposal from the Belarusian side was made at the meeting of the assemblies of the member-states of the organization in Geneva. Minsk has hosted various major international high level forums. In addition, we have a visa-free entry for a month for citizens of more than 70 countries around the world.
A memorandum of cooperation ending 2030 was signed with the World Intellectual Property Organization during the visit of the Director General of the WIPO. Belarus now has 6 specialized laws on all intellectual property.
