On New Year's Eve, the head of state adopted a decree, which provides for a 10% increase in pensions on February 1. Thus, according to expert estimates, we expect an average pension of Br811 in February. This is plus 75 rubles on average.
Irina Kostevich emphasized that this is the amount on average, because it will be different for each pensioner in rubles, because the calculations come from the pension of a particular pensioner. "In general, for 2024, the fund provides for the allocation of 22 billion rubles for the payment of pensions. But they still need to be earned through the payment of contributions from the wages of our working citizens. The increase itself per month is 166 million rubles, for 11 months it is 1.8 billion rubles. These are the additional costs that will go exactly for the growth of pensions," - said the Minister
