Today is the International Animation Day. The holiday is dedicated to those who in one way or another are related to the art of animation. Thus, the animation film studio of the National Film Studio "Belarusfilm" has contributed to the world art with more than 200 animated films in various techniques. The works of Belarusian production have received a large number of international awards. The national film studio will release an animated film timed to the 140th anniversary of the births of Yakub Kolas and Yanka Kupala telling about the lives of the classics of Belarusian literature.
XXVIII Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" is scheduled to start in less than a week. This year, for the first time, there will be an animated film competition at which Belarusian works will be presented.
