Today, the agreement signed by Belarus and Russia on visa-free entry during the World Cup entered into force. Since June 4, foreigners going to the World Cup through Belarus will only need to present a fan's passport or a printed copy. Belarusian border guards will have access to the database of all those who purchased such tickets, which means that they do not need a visa to enter our country.
Tickets for the matches were purchased by 1.5 million foreign fans. Of these, 200 thousand people will transit through Belarus.
