On the eve of his three-day state visit to China, Alexander Lukashenko invited the leadership of the power block to his cabinet to discuss the situation both inside and outside Belarus.
"In the light of the events of internal and, above all, external, I would like to hear from your lips a description of the internal political and military situation around our Belarus. Once again I would like to emphasize and orient you, and demand from you the strictest discipline in the military units of the Interior Ministry and the KGB. Toughest discipline! Everyone should do their job," stressed Alexander Lukashenko.
"We have a considerable number of people in uniform. Everyone is armed. These are the people sharpened to defend their country. We need to take advantage of this. Discipline and fulfillment of their duties. Especially on the border. I, when I talk about the border, it also means the police, it's the KGB, it's the military, we all have to see any smallest aggression against our country's borders in order to respond accordingly," the President demanded. They will use any opportunity to stir up the situation in Belarus. And they will do it. I beg you and demand from you to comply with these instructions. The rest is up to me."
