By Dmitry Smirnov: In Lida District, a businessman is restoring the only water mill in Belarus. This unique object of the 19th century was bought by the Belarusian two years.

This is the only mill in the entire country, where the water wheel is not outside, as usual, but under the building. And this part is going to be restored here as well.

The wheel is not going be part of the design, but a fully working mechanism. Pretty much like two centuries ago, the mill must grind flour.

The author of this project believes that the authenticity of brick walls and millstones is something that should be preserved at all costs. Saving money on such crucial details would be bad for business.

The building will not only be an example of great architecture. It is also expected to become a popular tourist attraction. After all, it will have torture chambers and a private collection of medieval weapons and knight armor. Also, master classes on old Belarusian cuisine will be hosted here.

And it seems that the accent on history and mythology has not been lost here, as travel agencies and Internet portals have already appreciated the idea.
