Support for youth is one of the key areas of social policy of Belarus. This was stated by Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalia Kochanova during an online meeting with colleagues from China. The parties discussed the development of youth areas of the two countries in the videoconference format.
The realization of a significant initiative - the Year of Education of Belarus in China - has already become an important stage of cooperation. The Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences has already signed several agreements with Chinese universities to exchange educational and scientific experience. Also during the meeting, the participants discussed the possibility of creating the Youth Scientific Society of Belarus and China as a single platform, providing additional opportunities for scientific, technical and innovative cooperation.
It should be noted that in 2022 Belarus and China celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
