Minsk resident lost 5 000 rubles as a result of telephone communication. She received a call via an Internet messenger from a foreign number and introduced herself as bank employees. The fraudsters issued a loan for the woman. The cybercriminals persuaded her to take another loan to repay the old one and transfer the money using self-service terminal to the insurance account.
The fraudsters consulted the victim, asked to report the codes that came to her in SMS messages. The woman did not turn to the police for help right away. 4 loans had already been issued for her. Now a check is being carried out, a search for suspects is underway.
