Belarus lost every third citizen in that war. Our territory saw hundreds of concentration camps and ghettos.  Hundreds of thousands of people were fighting.  The dislocation places of some guerrilla organizations are honored today. One of them is the Memorial Complex of Partisan Glory "Khovanshchina" in Ivantsevichy District. Today, the memorial is a narrow forest road and a wooden bridge over the marshes. It was the seat of the headquarters of the partisan troops. Some buildings of the guerrilla camp are still preserved. The initiative to create a memorial complex was suggested by the partisans themselves.
