BSU Chemistry Faculty develops eco-friendly wrapping material

Belarusian scientists decided to solve the most urgent problems of atmosphere pollution and unhealthy eating by one invention - an edible wrapping material protecting products from bacteria and disintegrating in a couple of seconds. Moreover, the innovative wrapping will hardly influence product prices. The main ingredients used in making the material are starch and drinking water.
