From Minsk to St. Petersburg in 3.5 hours

A high-speed railroad line will pass through Minsk. It will connect St. Petersburg and Hamburg. The second-largest German city can be reached via Warsaw and Berlin in 7 hours, and the journey to St. Petersburg will take about 3.5 hours. The existing paths are not suitable for such high speeds, so it is necessary to build a dedicated line. This will require, according to preliminary estimates, $30-40 billion. It is planned to attract mainly extrabudgetary funds, investment of Polish and German business. The new route will also be designed for cargo transportation.
