Head of the Presidential Administration Igor Sergeenko visits Mozyr District

The work of industrial enterprises and social institutions, and the preservation of cultural heritage was analyzed by the Head of the Presidential Administration Igor Sergeenko as he visited Mozyr District today. 

The first point of the route was Melezh Drama Theater, which underwent after a major reconstruction. The building was built in the late 20s - early 30s of the last century, has the status of historical and cultural value. However, a fire in 2013 seriously damaged the cultural monument - most of it was destroyed. Igor Sergeenko handed over the certificate for 100 thousand rubles to strengthen the material and technical base of the institution. 

The prospects for development and modernization were discussed at Mozyrsol. It is one of the leaders in Eastern Europe in salt production. It produces 515 thousand tons of products per year. Now the company is operating at full capacity, providing raw materials to all meat processing plants in Belarus and large production facilities in Russia. Deliveries are made to 17 countries.  Igor Sergeenko also talked to the plant staff. By the way, almost a thousand people work here. Much attention is paid to social support of employees. 

Arthur Galimov, General Director of Mozyrsol: "We are now changing the structure of our production. We go into the production of tableted salts where we see the greatest prospects. This product is more marginal, more expensive. Granular salts are a product that is used in water treatment. And there is a project where we are the leader, everyone is looking at us. This is the production of packaging and nitrite mixture for the meat processing industry".

And another point on the route is Mozyr orphanage. Here they talked about state support for children without parental attention. Today it is home to 55 boys and girls from all over the region, aged 4 to 18 years. Igor Sergeenko got acquainted with the living conditions and handed over gifts and money certificates. The guys have prepared a creative program for the guests.
