European "barbed wire" on Belarusian-Lithuanian border kills wild animals

Unsatisfactory statistics on the border with the European Union wild animals. European "barbed wire" killed 5 elks last week. This is reported in the State Border Committee of Belarus. Another incident was recorded yesterday. A few meters from the Lithuanian border, Belarusian border guards found the body of a forest animal. The migrating animal was trapped in a wire it got multiple lacerations and died. Let me remind you that nature protection organizations have repeatedly called on EU countries to refrain from installing dangerous fences at the border.
