Dobrush to host Written Language Day

This weekend, on September 3-4, Dobrush will host the Written Language Day. The town was not chosen by chance. The first paper mill was founded here, and the famous native of the region is a classic of national literature, national writer, screenwriter and playwright Ivan Shamyakin. Belarus celebrated his centenary last year. The main topics of the celebrations are the preservation of historical memory and a double anniversary: the 140th anniversary of Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolos.
