Brest to mark millennium with large-scale carnival

Vivid images and dance motifs that energize the holiday. This is exactly how the forthcoming show is described by the Fantasy Theater team. Girls have been on the floor for a month now rehearsing  seven days a week. The most difficult thing is to achieve synchronized actions, because about three thousand people will take part in the carnival.

Brest carnival has already become the hallmark of the city, but for the first time this year it will enter the international level. Guests will come from Russia, Poland, Kazakhstan and Moldova. The presentation itself will consist of 25 sections. Each has its own theme and concept.

By tradition, the city’s enterprises will also take part in the carnival procession. 

Guests of the festival will be able to take pictures with huge sculptures, appreciate rare cars, try on carnival dresses. They expect more than 50 thousand people. The solemn procession will take place in the very center of the city. Traffic will be blocked at this time.

The column will stretch for three kilometers. The culmination of the holiday will take place on Lenin Square. The show itself will last two hours. The theatrical performancewill reflect the thousand-year history of Brest.

The organizers, of course, did not reveal all the secrets of the carnival show. But they assure, no one has ever seen Brest so colorful and elegant.
