While politicians are deciding the fate of women and children in their offices, Belarusian doctors are doing their best to help them. The good news came from the maternity hospital in Grodno: Shilan Omer Ali gave birth to her first child. The boy weighs 3.5 kg and his mother is feeling well. The Iraqi woman had time to undergo all the necessary examinations before delivery. She sees her baby's future only in Germany.

Shilan Omer Ali, Iraqi refugee: "I am trying to get to Germany because I have nowhere to go back to, no family and no place to live. I really hope for a new life in Germany. It's very difficult and dangerous to get back home, so we all want to start a new life."
