Electric cars can now be imported VAT-free

Belarusians no longer need to pay VAT for importing electric cars in the country. The norm has taken effect today and will remain in force until 2026. It should be noted that it will concern Belarusian citizens and foreigners who permanently reside in the country - legal entities and entrepreneurs will continue paying tax in full. We remind you that by the end of 2021 there is no need to pay customs duty on import of electric cars for personal use.
