Volunteer clean-up was held today in a special place for the Belarusians - Kurapaty. It gathered about a hundred activists. According to the organizers, such work is a direct manifestation of responsibility for preserving the history of the Belarusian people. Kurapaty is part of the state list of historical and cultural values of Belarus as a burial place for victims of political repressions of the 30-40s of the last century. The exact number of victims is still unknown, but, according to official figures, it can reach several thousand people.
