Air bomb found in playground in Minsk

A quarter-ton WWII aerial bomb was found yesterday by workers on the playground in Minsk. The construction company was excavating in the yard of an apartment building at Brilevskaya Street, when one of the workers stumbled on a dangerous find. Sappers of the MIA technical center, rescuers and representatives of the Investigative Committee arrived on the scene. The police officers evacuated people from the area in order to ensure their safety. The Internal Troops sappers took the shell to a landfill, where it was destroyed.
