"The West cannot be allowed to howl down our voice at international parliamentary platforms," said Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko at the meeting of the 62nd session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia.
It is necessary to use all the potential to promote the economic interests of our countries, strengthening ties with the largest economies of China, India, and Southeast Asia.
The session focused on the current areas of work of the Union parliamentarians to counter external challenges and threats, sanctions, the propaganda of Nazism and the protection of historical memory. Newly formed commissions of the Parliamentary Assembly were also approved; they were assigned the functions of legislative support for the implementation of Union programs approved by the Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
