Activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union presented veterans with cakes depicting the symbols of the Flowers of the Great Victory campaign during a meeting at the Vitebsk regional administration. Besides, schoolchildren recited poems and ballads about the Great Patriotic War for them.
Custom-made cakes adorned with national symbols and apple blossoms were served at all solemn receptions organised for veterans as part of the 70th anniversary of Victory celebrations.
