Exhibition in memory of Vasiliy Sharangovich opens at National Art Museum

A new exposition opened in the exhibition space of the National Art Museum. The exhibition is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the national artist Vasily Sharangovich. These are classic linocuts, autolithographs, monotypes and drawings of the 1970-80s. The art works of Vasily Sharangovich's pupils are also available for viewing.

The subtlety of artistic thinking, sense of form and lines. All this is reflected in the work of People's Artist of Belarus Vasily Sharangovich. His brush painted the artistic word of the Belarusian language and world literature. Vasily Petrovich's authorship includes tens of thousands of drawings, watercolors, graphic sheets, illustrations. The exposition of the National Art Museum presents a series of works devoted to different stages of the national artist's creativity.

For almost three decades Vasily Sharangovich taught students to see the world through the prism of illustration and easel graphics, to think in landscapes and portraits, being the rector of the Academy of Arts. That is why on the walls of the National Art.
