One of Kazakhstan’s leading theaters is touring Minsk as part of the festival Ballet Summer at the Bolshoi. Taking place for the fourth time, the event is bringing together famous performers from around the world. The Astana Ballet troupe consisting of 50 people arrived in Minsk yesterday and immediately left for the Bolshoi Theater to rehearse. Today, the ballet dancers will present a choreographic show accompanied with Kazakh folk music in contemporary arrangement.
A total of six performances will be presented in the next three days. The festival will finish on Sunday with a gala concert to feature world ballet stars.
