By Evgeny Perlin: For more than 10 years, Europe’s major music contest has been launched with a solemn ceremony. This year, the event took place in the Vienna City Hall.
As this year’s Eurovision features 40 countries, it has been decided to limit the number of delegation representatives to 20 people. While the contestants were walking the red carpet, they were being interviewed by journalists. It took Uzari & Maimuna the record 1.5 hour to walk the 200 meters path.
Today some of the performers will hold individual rehearsals, and the first semi-final participants, including Uzari & Maimuna will be evaluated by the national jury during the general run.
