The opera company of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will visit 25 UK cities. The tour will last about two months. About 40 productions will be staged at the most prestigious venues of England.
The program of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus includes two operas by Giacomo Puccini Madame Butterfly and La Boheme. The main parties are performed by the leading soloists: People's Artists of Belarus Vladimir Petrov and Sergei Frankovsky, Honored Artists of the Republic of Belarus Nina Sharubina, Vladimir Gromov, Vasily Kovalchuk and others. In total, there are about 80 artists, soloists, the chorus and symphony orchestra.
The first performance will take place at the Theatre Royal in Windsor, near London.
