Tonight the 19th International Festival White Tower will open in Brest. The program of the theater forum, which will last exactly one week, is saturated.
White Vezha is as always sold out. Tickets for almost all performances have already been sold. The forum will begin today at 17 o'clock with a carnival. Estonian pageantry will be held from the main square of the town to the theater. Officially, the festival will open with the show Tricks of Khanuma of the Belarusian National Drama Theater named after Gorky.
Participants of the festival this year are Armenia, Russia, Slovakia, Italy, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland. 13 countries in total.
Feature of the 19th festival is the arrival of the famous theater Meno Fortas from Vilnius, supervised by Eimuntas Nekrošius.
The best performance and the best actors will be chosen not only by theater critics and members of the organizing committee, but also by the audience and journalists.
