Belteleradiocompany Symphony Orchestra to participate in 27th International Festival of Chamber Music in Polotsk

By Larisa Gulyakevich: It is not the first time that German composer Gloria Bruni has been involved in Belteleradiocompany's musical projects. Her Requiem in Rome will be performed at the 27th International Chamber Music Festival in Polotsk. Written in 2000 on the Vatican's request, Requiem in Rome is the first work by musician and opera singer Gloria Bruni, who studied vocals and composition in Hamburg and Munich. Requiem has been performed in Austria, Germany, Israel, Italy, Poland, and a few times in Belarus. This year, Bruni's work will be taking part in the Polotsk festival as a tribute to the Chernobyl tragedy.

Wilhelm Keitel, who has been working with Belarusian musicians with more than twenty years, will conduct Belteleradiocompany's Symphony Orchestra. The musician has founded several opera festivals, Minsk Opera music group and collaborated with the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus.
