Finalists of national eliminations for Eurovision 2020 to be announced today

The audition will start at noon at Belteleradiocompany. 49 candidates are expected to take part in it. The list of candidates includes a lot of popular as well as new names of the Belarusian pop. Most participants are from Minsk. Performers from Grodno, Mogilev, Vitebsk, Baranovichi, Pinsk and Molodechno will also come to the audition.

They will present their compositions in Belarusian, Russian and English. Today the songs will be performed live before the jury. The names of the judges will not be known until noon when the audition begins. Traditionally, the tvr.by site will be broadcast it live. The jury will determine no more than 12 compositions, though this figure may vary at the discretion of the organizers. Then the finalists will continue their fight in a TV gala concert. According to the contest regulations, it will be held not later than March 6. It will be aired live by TV channels Belarus 1 and Belarus 24. The winner of the national eliminations will be jointly selected by the jury and the audience.
