10 декабря 2013
Alexander Lukashenko has sent his greetings to the library workers. Initially, one of the country's major information centers was called the Government Library. In 1933, libraries of different commissariats were combined into one central library at the Government House. Only in 1994, it acquired its current status. Today it is the largest information center of Belarus in the field of management, politics, economics, law and other social sciences, with a unique collection of electronic resources available to all citizens of our country. The library's fund comprises more than 500,000 printed and electronic documents and about 75,000 rare books.
