The picture of the Belarusian artist Valenty Vankovich was demonstrated in his estate today. The picture was painted in the early 19th century. The experts suggest that it represents the Belarusian poet and researcher Tomash Zan. This is the only picture of a great artist that was returned to Belarus. It will be included in the exposition of the National Art Museum 10 Centuries of the Belarusian Art on March 27. The portrait of Tomash Zan has stayed in Belarus for a long time.
