Preparations for the shooting of the first ever Belarusian-Chinese movie are at the finishing line. Specialists from Beijing will spend the next week in Belarus.
Now there is a preliminary casting of Belarusian actors and selection of exteriors for the shooting of the movie. The starring actors for the love story will be selected until January 2024 as well as a team of Belarusian operators and directors. On the eve of the day, these agreements were incorporated into an official document - an agreement on joint film production. The details of the script, as well as the working title of the movie, are not disclosed. But it is known that the theme of peaceful coexistence of the peoples of Belarus and China, which leads to stability in the world, will be the main idea of the movie.
Zhao Shuguang, chairman of the Chinese Association of Film Critics, director of the project:
“The leaders of the two countries, China and Belarus, have signed a document that stimulates the production of joint films. First of all, this movie will be a real promoter of the cultures of Belarus and China, will show the peculiarities of traditions of the friend countries. After we arrived in Minsk, we felt the friendly attitude of Belarusians towards us. And our desire to reflect your best qualities as a nation definitely became stronger.”
