Today Belarus celebrates 125 years since the birth of classic of our literature Maxim Bogdanovich. Holiday events take place across the country. Minsk has become the center of celebrations. At the moment, a literary event We Grow Together with Maxim is taking place in Minsk at the monument to the poet.
Literary readings will last until the evening. But the real climax of today's events will be a meeting in memory of Maxim Bogdanovich. By the way, a wreath from the President of Belarus occupies a place of honor among the flowers and bouquets at the monument.
After several years of restoration Maxim Bogdanovich Museum reopened in Minsk. Visitors will be able to see the latest exposition with historical documents and new multi-media technologies.
