Comedies, ballads and street performances at international theatrical festival "White Tower" in Brest

The international theatrical festival "White Tower" has raised the curtain for the 26th time.  This year, the plays from nine countries were brought to Brest. They include Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Denmark, Poland, Russia and other. The audience was already surprised to see the People's Artist of Russia Leonid Yakubovich and Honored Artist of Belarus Vera Polyakova at the opening ceremony.  The performances will take place at five venues. Brest residents and guests will see 27 performances in seven languages in eight days. This year, the forum was opened with the performance of the Brest Academic Drama Theater "Do not Leave Me".  This is a tragic and touching story about the girls of a special reconnaissance group in 1944. 

For the first time in the history of the forum one of the productions will be shown in the Army Club of the Brest Fortress. Tomorrow,  a military puppet show "Life" will be staged there.
