The Israeli artist with Belarusian roots Lyubov Minkovich gave her paintings to the Historical Museum of Belarus. Here, her personal exhibition opened yesterday. The artist is a regular exhibitor at various international projects in the US, Italy, Germany, Australia, and Israel. Over 40 watercolours joined the museum’s funds.

Minkovich’s paintings feature places that she has known since childhood – the Trinity Suburb and Old Minsk, as well as the Mir Castle. In the series Dreams of my Country, the artist turned to the subject of flax harvesting, which is considered to be the Belarusian national brand.
