By Ksenia Lebedeva: The short documentary film about the legendary Soviet-French squadron Normandie-Niemen, directed by Yegor Klimovich, has premiered on the eve of Victory Day. Shot on the territory of Belarus, Russia and France, it is based on the monologues of pilots, the memories of descendants and historians’ opinions. The world premiere of film Normandie-Niemen: Monologue was held in France. Yesterday, it was premiered to Belarusian audiences, Great Patriotic War veterans being the first to attend the screening.
The film has a huge festival success. Last year alone, it was presented at five festivals and appreciated by international critics.
