Chinese language classes are gaining popularity among the residents of Minsk. The Confucius Institute at the Linguistic University celebrates its 5th anniversary. During this time several thousand students have studied Chinese here. Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations started 25 years ago.
The Confucius Institute at the Linguistic University has become one of the country's largest centers of the Chinese culture. Every year teachers from China come to Minsk, more than a hundred students have been trained in China by the Institute scholarships.
